All our teas are sourced directly from India, Africa, and the Caribbean.
Where Is Your Business Located?
“Home” for us is Miami, Florida. However, we have representatives in the New York/New Jersey metro area, in Los Angeles, and in Europe.
Do You Grow Your Own Teas?
No, but we work with tea farms that have been in business for decades (in some cases, over a century), because we respect the power of generational experience. We ensure that our teas are organic and fair trade-certified, because we believe we should be doing our part to undo the exploitative history behind tea production.
Why Are Your Teas So Expensive?
We know our teas are more expensive than other brands found on store shelves. But all things considered, our tea is actually a bargain for the product.
Our teas are all premium -quality teas, and are handpicked to ensure quality,
We have among the shortest farm-to-cup times in the industry. This affects the strength of the tea (and how many times it can be re-steeped), and also ensures against natural flouride buildup.
Our teas are fair-trade certified, meaning that those that grow, pick, and produce the tea are being treated fairly.
And of course, our teas are completely organic, GMO-free, preservative-free, and additive-free. This is tea at its most natural essence.
Why Do You Only Sell Loose Leaf Teas?
We don’t sell tea in bags because it’s not in keeping with our ideal of a harmonious and loving company. Loose leaf teas create the least waste, and used tea leaves can be easily and responsibly composted or otherwise returned to nature once you’re done with them. Quite simply, loose leaf teas are the most sustainable and responsible choice.
